We’re happy to announce amazing new art will be exhibited on our shop walls shortly. Amsterdam based Greek artist Fei Alexeli (27) will be showing her work from April 15th til the end of June and you’re more than welcome to come and have a look!

‘The interrupted places’, is a series of digital collages. A dialogue between existent and nonexistent places, where Alexeli ‘manipulates’ and twists real worlds to evoke audience to an emotional experience.

‘De donde crece la palma’ (where the palm tree grows), is a photo project from Alexeli’s trip to Cuba in 2013. The impulsiveness and beauty of Cuba and Cuban people inspired this series. The digital photos and multiple exposures are used in one frame to capture the multidimensional character and liveliness of this unique place in our world.

About the artist

Alexeli lived in Oxford, London and Frankfurt before. While studying architecture in Oxford, she found her passion for visual arts and started to use photography, photo-montage and digital collage as languages to communicate. Her work is usually driven by unknown aspirations translated in a poetic manner.
